Anthony is currently a technician at Seven Oaks. He is from Tampa, Fl, and graduated from Leto High School. He loves going kayaking and cooking in his free time, and he loves cats!
Gabe, Veterinary Technician

In his free time, Gabe loves spending time with his girlfriend and kids. He is a huge fan of the Boston Celtics, and always has the coolest pair of shoes on! He has been in the veterinary field for over 7 years and is passionate about helping pets in need.

I got into veterinary medicine when I was 19 years old. A friend's mother was s vet and I was offered a job. I worked as a vet tech over the next 12 years before heading off to work as an EMT. Aafter 8 years on ambulances, I came back to veterinary medicine. I have 2 cats, one that is 13 and one that is still a kitten.

I recently moved from Dallas, Texas to continue school here in Florida. I am a junior at USF studying for a bachelors in biomedical science. I have always love the vet field and I plan to continue my education and go to vet school. I have a morkie named Buddy. On my free time I love to paint and watch new tv shows.
Taylor, Veterinary Technician

My name is Taylor Mcleod and what made me join the veterinary medicine field is the love I have for animals. Growing up, I had a variety of animals and loved caring for them. That is when I discovered this is the field I want to be in. I am continuing my education in hopes of becoming a veterinarian.
One of my impressive achievements is when I neutered a bull by myself at age 14! A second impressive achievement was when I assisted in a K9 surgery.
I have three dogs - Bella, a 12-year-old Chichi; Nollan, a 21-year-old Chichi; and Khloe, an 8-year-old Minpin. I also have a 7-year-old cat named Keke and a Guinea pig named Princess.
Kathy, Veterinary Technician

My name is Kathy, and I have been a Veterinary Technician for almost 28 years. I have always taken care of animals since the day I could walk - my first word was even “kitty”! I am passionate about animal medicine and love caring for your fur babies. My heart is involved with every case, and you can rest assured that I will care for your baby as if they were my own.
I moved to Florida from Connecticut back in 2013. I have three wonderful little boys and a small mini-zoo of fur babies.

I’ve always been interested in veterinary medicine since I was young, I love animals and knowing that I’m helping the pets in need. I want to eventually move to be a vet technician, and one day have my own rescue. I have 3 dogs, a cat, a bird, some chickens, and bunnies at home.

My name is Mackenzie and getting into veterinary medicine was an easy choice for me, growing up around many different animals made it an easy choice. When I was in high school, I did 4 years as a vet tech. My goals within this field include making a difference in each pet owner’s life and to help as many pets as I can. I have one pet, her name is Nala, and she is a domestic short hair. She is the spunkiest cat ever. One quirky fact about me is my favorite shoe is crocs.
Callie, Client Care Coordinator

My name is Callie Young, I’ve had or been around animals my whole life. I absolutely love animals, dogs & elephants are my favorites. I currently don’t have any pets, but my dream dog is a Pitbull or Great Dane. My Goals for the future are to work my way up to Vet Tech and, maybe, one day, work with bigger exotic animals. In my free time at home, I love watching TV and doing various puzzles/crafts. I have been married for over a year, and my husband and I are expecting our first son this year.

Annick, Veterinary Assistant

She was born and raised in Miami, FL and moved to Tampa in 2017. Upon moving to Tampa, Annick enrolled in veterinary assisting courses where she was exposed to a variety of animals and grew to have a deep appreciation for veterinary medicine. She is currently a Junior at the University of South Florida majoring in Biology with a concentration in Animal Biology. Annick has loved animals her whole life and plans on pursuing veterinary school upon finishing her studies at USF. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog and two cats at home as well as exploring the outdoors with friends and family!
Holly, Veterinary Assistant

Holly is working as a veterinary assistant. She is originally from Land O' Lakes, Fl, and just recently graduated from the University of Central Florida. She has rescued hundreds of cats over the past few years and loves fostering them in her free time. Some fun facts about her are: she speaks Spanish, and loves Netflix!
Elizabeth, Veterinary Assistant

Elizabeth was born in Wisconsin and raised in Texas, and recently moved to Florida in 2020. She went to Dallas county community college where she got certified as a veterinary assistant. She loves working with animals, especially cats, and she aspires to one day be a veterinary technician. She has three adorable cats at home!
Sydnee, Veterinary Assistant

Sydnee is currently at student at the University of South Florida, and is very dedicated to her studies. Sydnee has 3 husky/pom mixes, including her brand new puppy Lyra. In her downtime, she studies new languages! She aspires to one day be a veterinarian, and can’t wait to learn more about the field in this position.
Olivia, Veterinary Assistant

My name is Olivia and my interest in veterinary medicine began when I visited the Thai Elephant Conservation Center. My goal is to work in veterinary medicine in a conservation/rehabilitation setting; ideally a wildlife hospital. I currently have a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida, and I am attending HCC’s Veterinary Technician program. I have three dogs - Tony is a mutt and the oldest at 13 years old; Foxy is a Pom and the middle child at 7 years old; and Rudy is my Beagle mix, and he is the youngest at 2 years old. One fun fact about me is that I’m training to be a surgery assistant!

Hi! My name is Bella. I got into veterinary medicine by applying for a receptionist position at a veterinary office. From there I became a Veterinary Assistant due to the love and passion I try to portray in my job. My goal in life is to become an Occupational Therapist, but in the meantime I’m working to become a Veterinary Technician. My son is a 2-year-old German Shepherd named Sargent. One quirky fact about me is that I love wrestling and giving overly abundant kisses to my dog. An achievement of mine is being able to pull myself out of any obstacle that’s thrown at me and living my life with purpose.

Hi, I’m Maddie! I got into veterinary medicine because I love all the challenges you come across every day in this field and feel accomplished after facing them. I am a full-time college student at USF for Environmental Science and Policy. I would one day like to work in hydrology and supervise water treatment plants. I would also really like to specialize in Florida’s natural aquifers and underwater rivers. I received my Associate's degree from HCC and my CVA from Brandon High School. I am a current qualifier for the National Leadership Honor Society at USF. I have two dogs, three fish tanks, and a bearded dragon. My dogs are a 9-year-old German Shepherd named Dutchess and a 1-year-old English Bulldog named Tank. I love to travel back and forth from here to England to see my family. I also love traveling to Germany.

Hello, my name is Angela, and I am a groomer for North Tampa Pet Hospital. I have been grooming for over 15+ years. I started as an animal caretaker, and I always knew from there my passion was to work with animals. On my days off I like to go visit the petting zoo or volunteer my time at the humane society and also go to the beach and enjoy the water. One of my major goals in life is that all animals have a happy home.

I started grooming more than 15 years ago in San Diego, CA. I’m so happy to be back home in Florida and to be a part of SOPH, where I can continue doing what I love!
I have a cute little sassy Terrier mix named Emmy and my cat’s name is Kitty. Both are rescues.
When I’m not grooming, I enjoy baking, decorating, and biking.
