Seven Oaks Pet Hospital is seeking a full-time, experienced veterinary technician to join our team in providing high-quality veterinary medical services and customer service to the Tampa Bay area pet population.
We’re a full-service animal hospital focused on holistic medicine and client-based care. Our facility is state-of-the-art and equipped with the latest in diagnostic equipment, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and therapeutic cold laser, as well as a full surgery suite and grooming parlor. We’ve made pocket pets and exotics a specialty, and, unlike many vets in our area, we offer house calls and mobile services.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player with a minimum two years’ experience as a veterinary technician and an ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and stressful situations. This position requires a commitment to working Mondays and Saturdays.
Should we hire you, your duties will include performing various diagnostics, such as blood analysis, radiology, ultrasound assistance, and dental prophylaxis; assisting with surgical procedures and client education; answering multiple phone lines; conducting cash or credit card transactions; and scheduling appointments.
Physical demands: Individual will have extended periods of sitting, standing, stretching, and bending. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. The position requires lifting animals onto examining and surgical tables.
Work environment: Standard office and surgical/hospital environment, with exposure to hazardous chemicals, and sharp objects. Potential of exposure to parasites and infectious diseases that can be carried and transmitted by animals.
